Steon are pleased to announce the launch of our most recent powerful, flexible and efficient industrial solution.

With almost 50 years of experience in product design, Steon have a longstanding history of creating innovative British made luminaires. The most recent addition to our product range is the Stealth.

The Stealth features a low-profile design manufactured using robust Zintec steel ideal, affording the rigidity for industrial applications. This luminaire offers powerful performance delivering up to 18095lm and efficacy up to 180 lumens per watt.

A variety of optics are available with the Stealth depending on the intended environment it is to service. These include: 30°, 60°, 90° and 110°.

With a LED life expectancy in excess of 50,000 hours (L80 B10) the Stealth lends itself to projects where the luminaires are mounted at height as the fitting is virtually maintenance free. Other applications where this luminaire would be best suited include, leisure centres, warehouses and general industrial environments.

The Stealth can be supplied with integral 3 hour-maintained emergency and is also compatible with intelligent lighting controls such as DALI dimming, as well as Steon’s own suite of intelligent control solutions.

For many clients a bespoke retrofit gear tray may be the most cost-effective method in converting a project from outdated fluorescent technology to LED. Retrofit solutions are also ideal for applications where the enclosure is adequate but the technology inside requires updating and improving. This was the case with Rochdale Borough Council who required a retrofit gear tray for five 12-meter linear luminaires which were suspended in the entrance way of Number One Riverside.

Steon Lighting have worked closely with Rochdale Borough Council on a number of other projects and were approached to design a solution which would make use of the existing fittings. Our design team developed a gear tray which significantly improved the light output and uniformity delivered.
