Steon Ltd are seeking to recruit a versatile individual to fulfil a position which borrows from the disciplines of purchasing, logistics, operations and administration.
The successful applicant will be a well-presented, articulate individual with a confident telephone manner. Duties will include handling telephone enquiries, preparing and distributing quotations, answering/redirecting incoming calls, maintaining CRM data and other ad hoc duties.
Once settled into the office the individual would be expected to develop, with responsibilities broadening in variety and importance. Some examples may include scheduling and managing dispatches to customers, assisting with the operations of product manufacture, product procurement and monitoring of fast moving stock to ensure continuity of supply. This will necessitate time being split between the office and warehouse.
We are hoping to introduce a very capable individual to the office team. A promising candidate will have the following attributes and competences.
- A good standard of general education.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Computer literacy and an understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective organisation skills and punctual timekeeping.
- Ability to communicate proficiently with good interpersonal skills.
- Good reasoning and a positive attitude towards problem solving.
